Norfolk and Western NW Diesels - Set #109
This set is for Norfolk and Western's vast fleet of black NW painted diesels. This set includes 42" heralds for road diesels, 24" heralds for smaller switchers and slugs, and 12" nose heralds. "Cut to length" stripes are also included to go under the unit number of locomotives equipped with swivel butt couplers.
Locomotives with swivel butt couplers have no coupler alignment control and are prone to derailments when the couplers buckle between diesels during pushing moves. These locomotives were not allowed to be coupled together unless a locomotive with alignment control was placed between them.
This set is available in HO, O and N scale. Each set will letter several locomotives. Numberboards and data are not included.

Norfolk and Western NW Diesels - Tuscan Red - Set #110
This set is for Norfolk and Western's tuscan red SD40-2 and C30-7 locomotives with dulux gold NW heralds. In 1978 N&W received EMD SD40-2 #6175 and GE C30-7 # 8010 in tuscan red paint and dulux gold lettering. In 1979, five more tuscan red GE C30-7's joined the roster. There locomotives were numbered 8076, 8077, 8078, 8079 and 8080. Curiously, the last two locomotives of that order, 8081 and 8082, were delivered in black. These tuscan red locomotives could still be found plying Norfolk Southern rails as late as 1990. EMD SD40-2 #6175 still serves Norfolk Southern and has been converted to radio control.
Each set will letter several locomotives and includes road numbers for all of these units. Numberboards and data are not included. Available in HO and N scale.
Norfolk and Western Bicentennial SD-45 #1776 - Set #119
This diesel was painted red, white, and blue in 1974 to tour the Norfolk and Western system as a tribute to the United States 200th birthday. The special paint job was designed and painted on the locomotive in Roanoke, Virginia. When the locomotive came up for it's next painting it was returned to the standard black and white scheme which it wore until it was retired. She was stored unserviceable for many years and was donated to the Virginia Museum of Transportation. The locomotive has been repainted into the Bicentennial scheme although the blue is lighter than the original scheme. Efforts are underway to correct this. As a bit of trivia we are proud to say that she now wears full size ShellScale Decals and we were able to help apply them. This set is available in HO and N scale. This set does include numberboards.

Norfolk and Western 1984 Scheme - Set #122
This set is for Norfolk and Western's 1984 scheme where the lettering was spelled out on the side of the carbody, retaining the standard NW on the locomotive ends. This set includes white lettering for the heralds and numbers. An added bonus in the HO and N scale sets is the experimental dulux gold lettering for GE C30-7 #8072, and black lettering for the three "skunk" GP-38's #4104, #4107 and # 4129. Locomotive #8072 wore white lettering on one side and end, and dulux gold lettering on the other side and end. Each set will letter several locomotives. Data and numberboards are not included. Available in HO, O and N scale.
