The ShellScale Decals Numberboard System
For many years our model locomotive numberboards have been overlooked. Frequently these models have won awards, been featured in photographs, and even on the covers of model magazines - with incorrect numberboards or no numberboards at all. It's kind of like leaving the horn hook couplers on them.
With ShellScale Decals Numberboards this problem can be eliminated. Our models no longer have to have gapping holes where their numberboards should be. Our accurate numberboards add the finishing touch to your factory painted or custom painted locomotives. Our sets are created from prototype numberboards and are absolutely accurate. We offer 15 styles to match a variety of prototypes.
Our sets are designed with the modeler in mind. Most sets begin with the series 101112 and go to 989900. This sequence is repeated four times. With this system any four-digit number can be created using pairs of numbers rather than trying to place individual numbers on the numberboard. As an example, to create the number 6175, simply find 606162 and 747576 on the sheet and trim out the appropriate numbers and apply to the locomotive numberboard. (Some of our sets still have a jumble of numbers and are being revised as they are reprinted).
We include lots of numbers and numberboards on the sheet. We also include gasket decals printed on the white panel and also on clear, for the modelers individual needs. Please note: These are decals, not plexiglass.
